MARRIED SONS.
As more data become available, overview gets more difficult.
Therefore, I made the following relationship diagram of the married sons KAPPERT of generation
2 up to and including 8.
On the bottom right of the diagram some people are missing, because I (still) haven’t seen any
data. They may not yet be public.
The relationship diagram is as compact as possible. I only mention the married sons with their
first given name, supplemented with any initials, if necessary.
In the first generations some have another surname then ‘Kappert’. They call themselves
‘Slagman’, 'Enneman' or 'Endeman’. In those cases, I mention the surname in the schedule as
well.
The abbreviation 'ho' means 'husband of'.
I only mention the surname (maiden name) of the wives .
Behind each name, the year of birth is mentioned (if known) in parentheses.
Sometimes there is a red line on the right side of a couple.
That means that I didn’t find married sons of this couple,
So the relevant branch of the genus 'Kappert' stops there.
Under the man’s name you see a number and a name of a town.
The number represents the total number of children
(possibly in multiple marriages),
and the name of the town shows the (main)
recidence of the family.
In this scheme it is easy to see, how the families (until about 1900) mainly have
spread over the Achterhoek (that is the eastern part of the province of Guelre).
