Johannes Gerardus Kappert (1890-1963) and Petronella de Kort (1895-1982). 1947 From my mother's side, the ancestors of my grandfather (John Gerardes Kappert) come from the Achterhoek and the province Overijssel (in the neighbourhood of Lochem, Zutphen, Deventer en Bathmen). His father is a conductor. Like his brother, he is a musician in the army. His brother Albert plays out his career as a composer and conductor of what became the Johan Willem Friso Kapel. His ancestors were primarily protestant. The ancestors of my grandmother ( Petronella de Kort ) come from the province North-Brabant (Vught and vicinity) and all are Roman Catholic.
